Dining room in Virginia Water with regular plastered walls that were painted to appear as if wood panelled. This had been an original feature of the house pre-war and the brief was to re-create the effect after the property had been renovated.

Here, as mural artists, we painted murals and landscapes in panels and, as decorative artists, we applied specialist paint finishes to the larger areas of wall and woodwork, which comprised of two complementary tones plus gold-based paints and lightened coeruleum blue applied to mouldings.
